Jammu & Kashmir is known for its beauty and spirituality. People also call Kashmir as the Switzerland of India. We students of digital media made a plan to visit IIMC Jammu regional campus & also have Vaishnav Devi Darshan. The plan was scheduled from 26th of May to 28th of May. We began our journey via train to Jammu Tavi and later part of the journey was covered by road.
Jammu campus of IIMC is very well designed in terms of infrastructure. But the transport connectivity from bus station or railway is below expectation. The fare asked by the auto drivers are sky touching. Even the distance from main road leading to campus is nearly one and half kilometers away, that too is not constructed completely. The last part of 300 to 400 meters of journey is none less than trekking the mountain.
After entering in Jammu border, we got disconnected from rest of the world until we connected with the Wifi oxygen from the IIMC campus. The facilities inside campus is systematically curated. The main aim of having darshan started from Katra, after getting ID cards to enter the freeking point at 9:20 PM.

Masses going in groups, some with friends others with family, chanting Jai Mata Di one after the another. The 13 km distance on mountain was covered with several stops at regular interval by 2:30 AM.
The next phase of having darshan was eventually fulfilled. We all got fresh and went for darshan in cave by 3:15 AM. The atmosphere was filled with positivity, cold air blowing, water from mountains chirping and people joining hands, praying for their well wishes. After having darshan we went to Kaal Bhairav Dham, which was very adventurous and tough as well. The distance from Vaishanv Devi to Kaal Bhairav is just 3 Kms but the steep walk on mountain added weight.
After four long years, I had met & got blessed by Maa. We all returned by 12 Noon to Katra.The experience was unbelieveable, Unexpected and Unique.Each part of the body was paining but the journey and power of inside over ruled all.In last phase of journey we returned to campus and then departed for New Delhi back to our work land.We would thank the entire students of Jammu campus who had supported and helped us in all possible way.
